Personal data we process
We process the following personal data in most cases: name, gender, address, telephone number, email address, IP address and location data when you visit our website.
MCM processes personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.
Why personal data are processed
When we process personal data about you, there is of course a reason. We process your data on one of the following grounds:
- It is necessary for the performance of our services;
- We have obtained consent from you to process them;
- We have a legitimate interest in processing your data;
- You have disclosed the personal data to us without being obliged to do so.
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Special personal data are data of a sensitive nature. For example, data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or philosophy of life, trade union membership or sexual orientation. In addition, data about your health, genetic data or biometric data that allow you to be identified (such as a fingerprint) are also special personal data.
The nature of the advice request or case may mean that special personal data about you will be processed by us. We process special personal data when you have disclosed it to us yourself and only for the purpose for which you disclosed it to us or when you have given your consent to process it.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in children’s online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@mcm-research.com. We will then remove this information.
This is what happens if you do not provide your personal data
You have no (legal) obligation to share personal data with us. However, we cannot perform our services without certain data, for example the data we use to conclude an agreement with you.
If your personal data are processed on the basis of your consent, you always have the right to withdraw this consent by contacting us. The processing of these personal data will then be stopped. However, the withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect.
Newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, you give us permission to use your e-mail address to send the newsletter to you. To be really sure that you wanted to subscribe to the newsletter, we ask you to briefly confirm your subscription after signing up. By the way, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

- Handling payment
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising folder
- Calling or e-mailing you if necessary to carry out our services
- Informing you about changes to our services and products
- Allow you to create an account
- To deliver goods and services to you
Automated decision-making
MCM does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals on the basis of automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without a human being (e.g. an MCM employee) being involved.
How long we keep personal data
MCM will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data is collected.
As long as your data is necessary to provide our services, we will keep it. When our services are completed we will keep the data for a maximum of 36 months. We do this due to the nature of the service we provide.
As for billing data, we adhere to the legal retention period. We delete other personal data three months after you withdraw consent. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
Sharing personal data with third parties
MCM does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. MCM remains responsible for this processing.
