Face-to-face research
Direct contact with respondents is what we stand for. Whether at people’s homes, in shopping malls, or at airports or railway stations, we engage in conversation with people. For example, we conduct research on public opinion on behalf of the European Union and we conduct research on people’s level of development on behalf of knowledge institutes. We are at both Schiphol Airport and train stations with our interviewers. But we can also conduct research into the experience of stores or new concepts or into visitor behavior at events.
We conduct face-to-face research throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and France for the government, the European Parliament or social organizations, among others. Our interviewers go out with a tablet or laptop and interview ordinary citizens like you and me in their homes. Sometimes respondents are called in advance if they want to participate, other times our interviewer is given a certain zip code area and goes door-to-door asking people to participate.
An example of an ongoing survey is the Eurobarometer. This is conducted in all EU member states to learn more about public opinion. It is regularly reported in the media.
Interviewers from MCM-Research live throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and France. From the south of Limburg to the north of Friesland and from the west of Zeeland to the east of Twente. Interviewers in Belgium live in both Flanders and Wallonia. And those from France in all the various departments of France. We always strive for interviewers to work as close as possible to where they live.
We usually conduct these surveys on behalf of other market research agencies such as Kantar Public and Ipsos, for example.
