Profiler 2022 Brussels Airport Company
The study is one of the most important market surveys conducted at Brussels Airport. The results are based on 60,000 face-to-face interviews at the gates. The Passenger Profiler study serves as the basis for numerous business development decisions within different departments, such as Aviation Development, Passenger Experience, Passenger Services, Mobility, etc..
The client(s) want to know who the passengers are, where they come from, by what mode of transportation they arrived at the airport, how long in advance they arrived at the airport, how they spend their money in the terminal, where they fly to, with whom and for what purpose they fly, how they booked their ticket, etc.. These insights reveal potential new routes, guide marketing content for market development, help determine what and where for commercial development in terms of products, services, retail and F&B and finally can help understand performance differences.
Without a system to identify customers, surveying passengers face to face is the only way to obtain this information.
The questionnaires are administered using tablets. The applications for data collection and processing (including dashboards) were custom developed by MCM Research based on years of experience in the field. Interviewers can conduct the interviews in multiple languages if necessary. Self-completions via tablets in several languages are also available for non-native speakers.
MCM Research is responsible for the total execution of the fieldwork. From programming the questionnaires to the final delivery of the various data sets. We also advise our client(s) based on our experiences in the field. In addition, we are able to develop new data collection instruments and methodologies customized for the client(s) through our own R&D department. All this in order to continuously work on improving efficiency and quality.
