Routes & Profile Monitor Airport Schiphol Amsterdam
The research provides the client with information on pre-transportation, parking policy, hospitality and retail (customer journey; experience monitor), among others. Throughout the year, 7 days a week, from 6 a.m. (or earlier depending on the sample of flights) to midnight, representative interviewers conduct face-to-face interviews. These interviews are conducted at a variety of locations such as, departure and arrival hall, before and after customs, Schiphol Plaza, Schiphol Station, Parking lots, Taxi stands etc.. In total about 100,000 completes are realized for the monitors by a fixed team of interviewers and supervisors from our office at the airport.
The questionnaires are administered using tablets. The applications for data collection and processing (including dashboards) are custom developed by MCM Research based on years of experience in the field. The interviewers can conduct the interviews in multiple languages if necessary. Self-completions via tablets in several languages are also available for non-native speakers.
The interviewers at the airport have at least HBO level and must meet the representativeness requirements set by the client. The core is that the interviewers, especially given the fact that they are provided with an Amsterdam Airport Schiphol badge and pass, are a business card/ambassador of the client(s).
MCM Research is responsible for the total execution of the fieldwork. From programming the questionnaires to the final delivery of the various data sets. We also advise our client(s) based on our experiences in the field. In addition, we are able to develop new data collection instruments and methodologies customized for the client(s) through our own R&D department. All this in order to continuously work on improving efficiency and quality.
